In a humble home on the edge of the woods is where you will find me, along my dogs, my Dad and some very fiesty chickens. We live on five acres on the edge of the woods where deer and wild turkey often pass through as the sun breaks over the horizon. I have been a proud Gainesville resident for the past 20 years. I came to Florida in the early eighties to work in the very bustling business of horse racing and breeding on my 70 acre farm in Citra. I raised a successful and independent daughter, who is a teacher and a story teller. I traded the farm for a small Mom & Pop style hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach when the opportunity arose. That experience was both exciting and fun. Nowadays I am active in issues concerning social justice, and love to volunteer my time whenever possible to organizations that need help to help those less fortunate.
My approach to work is not to “sell” Real estate, but to help my customers by showing them their options and letting them decide. For a type A personality, I seem to have a world of patience. I think its because I love watching the process unfold. Through all of my experiences I have found that helping people is my passion. I look at Real Estate as the pathway to meet new people and assist them however I can. This is what brings me the most joy and makes me want to jump out of bed to get to work every day. How lucky am I?
